London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine - Maani is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at the London School of Hygiene in Tropical Medicine and serves as advisor to the Rockefeller Foundation-Boston University 3-D Commission. He was a 2019-2020 Commonwealth Fund Harkness Fellow in Healthcare Policy and Practice, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts. His research focuses on the structural and commercial determinants of health, and how they intersect with inequality, public discourse, and decision-making.
