Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards 2022

To drive change, we must recognize flaws and deficiencies in existing systems. It is just as important to develop a vision of change and concrete ideas and steps towards its implementation. With the Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards the Global Solutions Initiative recognizes outstanding youth-led projects or initiatives that actively work towards aligning (“Recoupling”) economic or political activities with social and environmental needs.

Each project focuses on local improvements but also serves as an example for broader change beyond their immediate impact. The ten finalists will present their projects in front of a small international jury at the Global Solutions Summit. The jury will select 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place winners. The overall winner of the award will receive a monetary prize of €5,000. Watch ten young changemakers from around the world present their projects for “Recoupling in Practice”.
