In 2022, the Global Solutions Initiative chaired the German Think7 presidency with the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE). Think7 facilitates the engagement group of think tanks from G7 countries. In various task forces, the Think7 members prepare policy recommendations to the G7 to be included in the G7 closing communique.
