Tania is a young entrepreneur, political scientist, internationalist, and education researcher born in the Indigenous capital of Colombia, La Guajira. Knowing that access to 21st-century learning opportunities empowers at-risk young people to thrive in this modern economy and overcome poverty, by 2015 Tania co-founded the Fundación El Origen in Colombia, then registered as Origin Learning Fund in the USA, to develop technology that facilitates access to training and educational programs for vulnerable populations, that have encountered a large gap in information technology and quality education, working with corporations, organizations, and institutions, reaching underrepresented communities worldwide. By 2020, Tania was recognized as Young Leader for the SDGs by the United Nations among other recognitions such as Young Leaders of the Americas by the US Department of State(2017), Generation Change by the United States Institute of Peace (2018), and Social Innovator by the Obama Foundation(2019). By 2022 Tania launched the corporate spin-off O-lab, a suite of digital tools that helps corporations and organizations manage training, educational and social projects worldwide, improving the way projects are done and measured while leaving no one behind.
