Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations - Ray is an economist specializing in industry and international trade issues. Her areas of interest include global value chains, technological upgrading of industries, free trade agreements and trade creation effects, technology transfer, and foreign direct investment. She has also worked on efficiency and productivity of firms, financial inclusion, energy and climate change related issues. Her latest book is “Global Value Chains and the Missing Links: Cases from Indian Industry”.
