CV

Working since 1987 at Ipea, Sandra holds a PhD in Economics from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, in Uppsala. She has been working as an Environmental and Natural Resource Economist with research, studies, and design of policies for Sustainable Development for over 34 years, in Brazil, Chile, and Sweden. She is currently Coordinator of Financing for Sustainable Development in the International Studies area at IPEA.
Why did you join the Solutions Lab? “Reducing inequalities is a priority for the Brazilian government and therefore also a focus for IPEA’s work. I thought the Solutions Lab is a remarkable opportunity for discussions on how to tackle the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss while also reducing inequality in its various dimensions.”
