The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi (India - Distinguished Fellow and Programme Director in The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI), a leading think tank of India in the field of environmental research and advocacy. He advises and works on the areas relating to climate change policy, low carbon development, carbon markets, and other environmental issues. Dr Rashmi was India’s principal negotiator of the Government of India for climate change for several years and has over 35 years of experience of working with the Government. He held the position of Special Secretary to the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change where he played a key role in framing India’s approach to climate policies before and after the Paris Agreement.
