International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) - A Special Advisor for FIDIC, the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, is a business development consultant. Formerly the FIDIC General Manager, he was educated in Kenya and worked for the UNHCR in Burundi. A materials engineer, he worked for Ford Motor and US Steel before taking up a postdoctoral appointment in Australia. In 1978, he joined Anglo American in the UK as a Principal Engineer and moved to Battelle Geneva’s process engineering group in 1984 before becoming the European Physical Society’s Publications Director.
