Corine Pelluchon is a Professor of Philosophy at the Université Gustave Eiffel. She is also a statutory member of the Hannah Arendt Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Political Studies. Corine works within moral and political philosophy, as well as medical, environmental and animal ethics. She is an expert on the work of Leo Strauss and Emmanuel Levinas. In her book “Éthique de la consideration”, she develops an ‘ethics of virtue’, helping us to deal with the challenges of modern societies. In 2020, she received the Günther Anders Prize for critical thinking. At THE NEW INSTITUTE, Corine Pelluchon will collaborate on the programme “The Foundations of Value and Values”.
