Has held positions as Director General of International Economic Relations; Ambassador to the WTO; Deputy Director General of the WTO; Senior Counsel with the law firm King& Spalding LLP (Geneva). Presently practices international trade law in Chile and teaches in several universities in Chile, China and Mexico. Arbitrator in the Multi-Party Interim Arrangement (MPIA). Co-Chair of the Friends of Multilateralism Group, Geneva.
