Aidan Hollis is Professor of Economics at the University of Calgary, Associate Professor in the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto, and President of Incentives for Global Health, a US-based NGO focused on the development of the Health Impact Fund proposal. Hollis studied at Cambridge University and the University of Toronto, where he obtained a PhD in economics. His research focuses on innovation and competition in pharmaceutical markets, and he has published over eighty peer-reviewed articles and two books in a range of fields of economics. He served on the WHO Guideline Development Group on Antimicrobial Use in Food Animals and the Expert Advisory Group for the Global Anti-Microbial Resistance R&D Hub.
