Mariam Baghdasaryan is the Executive Assistant to the President.

With a focus on International Relations and European Affairs, she worked as part of international and non-governmental organisations, foreign missions and academic institutions in Canada and Europe. Combining political interests and experience with administrative management skills, Mariam joined the GSI’s Executive department as the PA to the President in 2022.

She completed her graduate studies (M.A) at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy and Sciences Po University (Paris School of International Affairs) and holds a B.A in Political Science, European Studies, and History from the University of Toronto.
