Laura Herde is currently studying European Studies in her master’s degree at the European University Viadrina. She holds a bachelor’s degree in cultural studies and studied sociology at Hong Kong Baptist University during her semester abroad.

Before joining the Global Solutions Initiative Foundation, Laura worked as a Student Assistant at the German publishing house Der Tagesspiegel, where she supported the planning of events in all project phases.

Laura has been part of the Young Global Changers team since 2020. In addition to supporting the program management, she was responsible for the community management as a Student Assistant. Since October 2023, she has been working full time with the administation team of the Global Solutions Initiative Foundation – first as Junior Admin Manager and since July 2024 as Administration  manager.
