Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) - Kansal holds a Master degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. She has research experience in agriculture, trade, finance and taxation issues with respect to domestic as well as international economies. She has worked as a researcher at Research and Information System for developing countries, New Delhi; Tax Policy Research Unit under Ministry of Finance, India; and Institute for Studies in Industrial Development, India. Her current work focuses on challenges associated with women participation in Indian agriculture.
