Global Infrastructure Basel - Downing is CEO of the Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation. He has a background as an engineer with a diverse professional practice across developed, emerging and least developed economies as well as conflict and post-conflict contexts. A respected thought leader, experienced innovator and sustainability expert, Louis has qualifications in Physics, Engineering and International Development. Louis has worked to improve the sustainability of more than 30 large infrastructure projects globally.
