Torsten Thiele

CV


Torsten Thiele, Founder of Global Ocean Trust and Vice President of Institut Choiseul, is currently Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics Institute of Global Affairs and was recently a Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS Potsdam). In 2014, he was Advanced Leadership Fellow at Harvard University. His research focuses on ocean governance and the concept of blue finance as a means to develop solutions to preserve and enhance natural capital. The use of innovative technologies and financing can serve to address ocean risk and strengthen coastal resilience.
